THE ULTIMATE ROUNDUP OF NYFW THREADS

September 10, 2017

NYFW is in full swing and there is no lack of eye candy to feast upon.  Which is why we've gathered up some of our favorite moments so far from street style, shows, and the celebrity filled after parties.

Starting off with some beautiful NYFW Street Style, courtesy of Matthew Sperzel, we're loving these fantastic looks. From bright blue capes to faux fur that looks bright and contrasts with the trend of primary colors being featured this year. To more edgy looks from the men's fashion as well, this year literally has it all, everyone is following their own style and we're living for it.

Moving on to one of our favorite shows, Christian Cowan's SS18 metallic love affair.  This collection from head to toe completely classes up the whole holographic trend.  It's not tacky or too much, it's just enough of everything. Don't even get us started on the wide range of textiles. We also love his take on pop culture and how he introduces that into his collection, utilizing trends like the ultra cropped sweatshirt and sheer panels in beautifully extravagant gowns.  It's amazing just how many different themes are happening in this collection, yet it all works together in its own way. Look through the collection below!

Of course we had to include a few of our favorite looks from specific collections!

Such as this Alexander Wang look that walked down the runway, which inspires confidence and a new take on the athletic wear trend.  Innovative as always.

Or these backstage looks from Jeremy Scott!

Lastly, because of all the hype, we couldn't leave out some celebrity appearances that have really developed their own unique style to debut during the NYFW:

Tinashe

Cardi B

Everyone was there for the after parties, let's just hope that these positive fashion filled celebrations lead to more innovative looks and runways in the coming years, because this year sure wasn't a disappointment. Let us know what you think about these looks!
